Your contract is with The Red Lion Village Pub Inn and Dining in Odiham, Hampshire. Please read our Terms & Conditions below carefully as you will be bound by them.
Reservations
We require your credit card details to guarantee all reservations. We will not charge your credit card until departure but will require a swipe of the credit card upon arrival. When your booking is complete, you will be issued with a confirmation number. Please bring this confirmation number with you when you check-in. The persons named in a booking must be the persons who actually will be staying.
For group bookings (of 3 rooms or more) a 50% prepayment will be taken 8 weeks prior to your arrival date, and the remaining deposit due 4 weeks prior, which is non-transferable.
Cancellations
If cancelled up to 2 pm one day prior to the date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled after 2 pm one day prior to the date of arrival, or in case of a no-show, the total price of the reservation booking will be charged. Group Cancellation Policy (applicable on bookings of 3 rooms or more)
Group reservations can be cancelled without charge up to 8 weeks prior to the date of arrival. Reservations cancelled or amended within 8-4 weeks prior to the date of arrival will incur a penalty of 50% of the full stay including any taxes. Reservations cancelled or amended within 4 weeks to the date of arrival will incur the full charge of the total reservation booking including any taxes. Check-In/ Check-Out
You may check-in between the hours of 14:00 and 21:30. Check-out midweek (Mon-Fri) is before 10:00, and on weekends (Sat-Sun) before 11:00.
Early Check-Out
The full reservation charges will still be applied if a guest checks out before the booked departure date.
Prices
All rates include VAT (and local taxes) at the current rate. Rates are per room, per night, including a Continental breakfast (mid-week) or full English breakfast (weekends). All rates are non-commissionable. Rates quoted are correct only for the specific number of guests, nights and dates shown. Should you change the number of guests, dates or room nights, please note the rates will be subject to change. All reservations must be guaranteed with a valid debit/ credit card.
Availability
In the rare case that, due to unforeseen circumstances, we cannot deliver your requested accommodation, we will endeavour to find you alternative accommodation. Our liability will not extend beyond this.
Payment
We require a credit card to guarantee all bookings. We accept credit cards and cash payments. Cheques are not accepted. Payment is taken on departure. We accept the following payment cards: Visa, Mastercard, Maestro and Solo.
Pet Policy
We love your four-legged friends, and dog-friendly bedrooms are available at The Red Lion, Odiham.
Please note the following T&Cs relating to bringing your pets for an overnight stay.
- We have a limited allocation of bedrooms that can accommodate small/ medium-sized dogs. Guests therefore must advise us at the time of booking (please call directly, as individual room requests cannot be accommodated via our online booking portal) if you wish to bring a dog. Unless you are specifically booked into a room where dogs are permitted, you may not have a dog in our bedrooms. This is because, whilst we love dogs, some guests do not and may have sensitive allergies.
- Well-behaved dogs over 1 year may share their owners’ room for an additional fee of £15 per night, inclusive of VAT. This fee covers the additional anti-allergic deep clean that will take place upon departure.
- Guests are only permitted to have one pet in a room at any given time.
- Your dog must not be left alone in the pub rooms at any time. When dining with us, you are welcome to bring your dog with you in the pub's designated dog-friendly dining areas but do ask that your dog be well trained in public areas where food is being served.
- Staff are not permitted to care for your pet during your stay e.g., feeding/ walking.
- Please ensure your dog is always kept on a lead when in public areas of the pub and inn.
- We appreciate accidents can happen; therefore, we ask that you let us know if any accident occurs. Any damage to the room caused by your dog will be assessed by our Duty Manager and any cost incurred will be charged to your card.
- We do politely request that guests control and manage noise made by their pet during their stay, especially in the evenings and overnight, to ensure it does not disturb other guests.
- Please take particular care when taking your dogs outside the building and keep them on a lead until you feel it is safe to remove, as there is a main road at the front of the pub.
- If taking your dog outside of the premises overnight, we do ask that you ensure the outer doors are secure and locked at all times. Please do not forget to take your keys with you, as we do not have staff on premises overnight between 23:00 – 06:00.
- We reserve the right to review our accommodation commitment should continued disturbances to other guests occur.
Acceptance of Children
Children of all ages are welcome.
Damages and Breakages
Please take care when staying on our property. You are responsible and liable for any breakages or damages, which you or your party may cause to the accommodation or its contents. We ask that you report any incidents as they occur. We do not normally charge for minor breakages, but we may send you an invoice for repair or making good if the damage or breakage is significant and we may make an additional charge if you did not report breakages or damages.
Liability
We do not accept liability for any damage, loss or injury to any member of your party or any vehicles or possessions unless proven to be caused by a negligent act by ourselves or our employees or contractors whilst acting in the course of employment.
Dog policy
We love your four-legged friends and all of our pubs are dog-friendly, however, please note the following rules, which we ask you to adhere to when dining with us:
Doggy House Rules...
- All dogs must be kept on a lead at all times, inside, and out.
- Only doggy treats and water are to be consumed inside.
- Four paws to remain on the floor at all times, not on the furniture
- Please be mindful and respectful of other guests and the staff - not everyone feels the same about dogs.
When booking a table and bringing your pup, please make it clear on the booking, so that you can be located in a dog-friendly location within the pub. Not all areas of the restaurant will be available to pups.
Bottomless Brunch Offer
Bottomless Brunch is currently available at The Castle, Farnham only. No other pubs are participating in this offer at this time.
- Bottomless Brunch, when valid, will be available at participating pubs only (see above) on a weekend, at various times.
- This offer is not valid in conjunction with any other offers or promotions.
- A table for Bottomless Brunch is time-limited to 90 minutes. This commences from the time you are seated.
- Each drink will be replaced, once one is finished.
- Price is per person and drinks cannot be shared.
- Drinking to excess will not be permitted and participants are required to drink responsibly at all times www.drinkaware.co.uk.
- Management reserve the right to withdraw this offer at any time, without prior notice and reserves the right to refuse to serve alcohol to any participant at any time without notice.
- Alcohol will be served to over 18s only, proof of ID may be required.
All gift vouchers purchased must be made online via any of our pub websites. To protect customers from fraudulent activity/ stolen cards, for security reasons, all New Dawn Pubs online vouchers will not be activated until 48 hours after purchase i.e. If you purchase a voucher on Monday, you will not be able to use this voucher in our pubs until Wednesday. Gift vouchers are available as a digital e-voucher or printed voucher issued by the Toggle fulfilment centre, and must be used in a single transaction, which can be used at any New Dawn Pub site.
All full-price vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
Black Friday
Our annual Black Friday sale offers discounted vouchers. For voucher purchased in 2023, these will be valid from 2nd January 2024 to 30th June 2024, and must be used in a single transaction, which can be used at any New Dawn Pub site.
Should you wish to split a Black Friday voucher into smaller denominations, the discount acquired will be forfeited.
Monetary Gift Vouchers
All gift vouchers must be purchased online via our website, which can be used against food, drink and accommodation across all New Dawn Pubs pubs. Each gift voucher purchased will feature a unique reference code. Please ensure you present your valid gift voucher to your server at the time of requesting your bill to enable redemption. Each voucher must be used in a single transaction and cannot be part-used or exchanged for cash.
If you have paid full-price for a gift voucher, we will be pleased to split these down into smaller values for the recipient, should they wish. Please get in touch with Head Office to request this.
A Round of Drinks
All gift vouchers must be purchased online via our website. Enjoy a credit to your chosen value, from £30, to spend on drinks. This voucher can be used at any New Dawn Pubs pub or inn. Each voucher will feature a unique reference code, which must be presented to your server before requesting your bill. Please note, this must be used in a single transaction and cannot be part-used or exchanged for cash.
Dinner for Two (Credit Value)
All gift vouchers must be purchased online via our website. Enjoy a credit to the value of £70, to enjoy across all food and drinks, including daily specials. This voucher can be used at any New Dawn Pubs pub or inn. Each voucher will feature a unique reference code, which must be presented to your server before requesting your bill. The voucher must be used in a single transaction and cannot be part-used or exchanged for cash. Any spend over and above the credit value of your voucher will be added to your final bill at the end of your meal.
Bed & Breakfast for Two
All gift vouchers must be purchased online via our website. Please note, accommodation gift vouchers are valid Thur - Sun inclusive, unless otherwise stated. The Mothering Sunday gift voucher is a date-activated offer and carries a shorter validity of 6-months in which to consume. This offer will be on sale for a few weeks only. This is a date-activated offer valid from Monday 11th March 2024 for 6 months only. Enjoy a credit to your chosen value, which will be based on a meal for 2, 4, or 6 guests. A glass of bubbles will be included and will be based on 2, 4, or 6 glasses as per the value you have chosen. The voucher has a credit limit that can be used across all menus and drinks, including daily specials. This voucher can be used at any New Dawn Pubs pub or inn. Each voucher will feature a unique reference code, which must be presented to your server before requesting your bill. The voucher must be used in a single transaction and cannot be part-used or exchanged for cash. Any spend over and above the credit value of your voucher will be added to your final bill at the end of your meal.
Exclusive Escape for Friends - Dinner, Bed & Breakfast for a Group
All gift vouchers must be purchased online via our website. Please note, this package can only be booked up to three months (12 weeks) in advance. Each voucher features a unique reference code, which must be provided at check-in. Please ensure, prior to purchasing this gift voucher that should you have a specific date of stay in mind, you call the pub directly to check availability. To make your booking, do call the pub directly who will be pleased to check availability and plan for your upcoming visit, ensuring it is perfect!

Confirmation
To confirm a reservation for our Christmas Party Menu, or a New Year's Eve dining experience, a £15 deposit per person is required at the time of booking.
To confirm a reservation for an a la carte dining experience at some New Dawn Pubs in December, a £15 deposit per person may also be required.
Pre-orders will be required for all Christmas and New Year's Eve menu dining experiences that require a deposit at the time of booking (excludes a la carte menus). Dates for pre-order deadlines will be confirmed at the time of enquiry. The balance of the meal must be settled on the date of your reservation along with any drinks and extras.

Should your party decrease in size, we will refund the deposit in full, prior to 7 days in advance of your booking. Any reduction in your party size after this date will result in a loss of your deposit. We will do our best to accommodate any increases in party size after your reservation has been confirmed but cannot guarantee that additional guests will be able to dine.

Deposits are non-refundable should you cancel or move the date of a confirmed booking less than 7 days prior to your party. Private Dining at The Castle Pub
Booking Confirmation
1. To ensure availability and confirmation of a private dining space, a deposit of £15 per person is required. If a deposit is required for a specific menu, i.e. Mother’s Day, whichever deposit is greater will be the required deposit in order to secure the booking.
2. No event booking is confirmed until the signed contract is returned and the deposit is received.
3. Deposits must be paid at least 21 days prior to the date of the booking.
4. Failure to pay your deposit may result in your provisional booking being cancelled and the private dining room being released to other customers.
5. The remaining balance of the meal must be settled on the date of your reservation along with any drinks and extras.
Guest Numbers
1. Final numbers must be confirmed by midday 5 working days before your event.
2. Should your party decrease in size, we will refund the deposit in full prior to 7 days in advance of your booking in line with the minimum spend for your specified private dining room.
3. Any reduction in your party size after this date will result in a loss of your deposit.
4. We will do our best to accommodate any increases in party size after your reservation has been confirmed but cannot guarantee that additional guests will be able to dine beyond the maximum capacity of your chosen space.

Cancellation
1. Deposits are non-refundable should you cancel or move the date of a confirmed booking less than 21 days prior to your function.
2. Should you cancel a confirmed booking on the day, we reserve the right to keep the deposit and charge fully for the chosen menu based on the number of guests anticipated.
3. Charges apply to all menus, including but not limited to, breakfast, lunch and dinner reservations.
Gratuity and VAT
1. An optional service charge of 12.5% will be added to the final bill of all parties of 8 or more.
Service of alcohol
1. By prior arrangement we can offer the responsible service of alcohol from 10am to midnight in our private rooms.
Disability access
1. Please see access statement on our website as our private dining rooms are on the 1st floor with no lift access. Exclusive hire of the dining room and courtyard does offer full accessibility.

Deposit to be taken on confirmation of booking. Any bookings of 9 or more without a deposit payment are kept on enquiry status and cancelled if deposit payment not received within 72 hours of provisional booking.

We will do our best to accommodate any increases in party size after your reservation has been confirmed but cannot guarantee that additional guests will be able to dine.
For groups of 12 or more, a pre-order is required at least 7 days prior to the event.
Cancellation
Should you cancel more than 28 days prior to your booking, you will receive a full refund of any deposits paid.
Should you cancel between 28 and 7 days prior to your booking, your deposit payment will be retained but can be transferred as credit to another date, or in the case of a reduction of numbers, deposits can be credited against the final bill.
Should you cancel between 7 and 2 days prior to your booking, we will retain the full deposit.
Cancellation with less than 48 hours notice will result in a cancellation fee to the amount of your pre-order.
Charges apply to both lunch and dinner reservations.
Gratuity and vat
An optional service charge of 12.5% will be added to the final bill.
If you are opted-in to receive marketing emails from any pub within our collection and you provided your date of birth upon sign-up, from 1st January 2024 you will be sent a digital voucher for a complimentary bottle of Botter Prosecco, 7 days prior to your DOB.
This voucher is valid for 30 days from issue date, and is valid when 4 or more people are present, and purchase a minimum of 4 main meals from the seasonal menus or specials boards. One voucher per table only. One bottle of Prosecco will be provided, subject to availability. We reserve the right to refuse to offer the Prosecco and cancel this offer at any time.
When you sign-up and opt-in to hear from any of our pubs via email, you will be sent a series of welcome emails, the last of which contains a digital voucher for a complimentary Silent Pool gin and tonic.
This voucher is valid for 30 days, and can be claimed any time, on presentation of the valid voucher code, or QR code via your smartphone, subject to availability. We reserve the right to refuse to offer the G&T, and/or cancel this offer at any time.
Scratch cards were given out with bill-folds to customers throughout December 2023. The following prizes were available to win, valid on presentation of a winning scratch card between 2nd January 2024 and 28th March 2024. These vouchers are not valid in conjunction with any other offers or promotions. One voucher per table and transaction when redeeming.

B&B stay at The Red Lion, Odiham
Complimentary stay at The Red Lion, with breakfast. This voucher must be claimed by emailing info@newdawnpubs.co.uk to arrange prize verification and to organise your stay. Valid scratch card must provided to verify the prize. Prize must be redeemed before 3oth December 2024, excluding 24 & 25th December.
£500 Voucher Prize Draw
When redeeming your scratch card prize, enter your details on the reverse and hand to a member of the team to enter the prize draw. One winner will receive £500 of New Dawn vouchers. This voucher prize will be issued in April 2024, and vouchers will be valid until 31st December 2024.
£10 off when you spend £40
Available online and in print during select dates only. Please show voucher to your server (either online or in print). Only one voucher per table will be accepted. Valid at participating New Dawn Pubs pubs only (the participating pub name must be listed on the voucher in order to be valid). Only valid on date range specified.
Excludes peak diary dates including, but not limited to, Valentines Day, Mothering Sunday, Easter Sunday, Father's Day and the month of December. A £10 discount will be applied to your final bill when the bill is at least £40 in value. This voucher cannot be combined in conjunction with any other offers or promotions.
£15 off when you spend £50

Valid at participating New Dawn Pubs pubs only (the participating pub name must be listed on the voucher). A £15 discount will be applied to your final bill when the bill is at least £50 in value. This voucher cannot be combined in conjunction with any other discounts or promotions.
Loyalty Club Terms and Conditions
Loyalty Club points and credits remain the property of New Dawn Pubs (NDPC Ltd) at all times and may not be redeemed for cash; they have no cash value.
We reserve the right to terminate your Loyalty Club account at any point. If we terminate your account, all outstanding points, credits, and discounts that you have accrued will be immediately cancelled and no cash payments or other compensation will be provided.
Our terms and conditions are governed by, and construed in accordance with the laws of England, and we both agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts in relation to any dispute, issue, or other matter which arises between us.
All offers are subject to availability. You may not be able to use your credits or Loyalty Club discounts in conjunction with other offers, if you are unsure which offers are eligible in the scheme please ask at any participating pub or contact club@newdawnpubs.co.uk.
Your Loyalty Club credits may not be sold or transferred to any other individual or collector. We are unable to transfer points or credits from an account that is being closed.
You can terminate your membership at any time by advising us in writing. Any outstanding points, credits, and discounts that you have accrued will be immediately cancelled and no cash payments or other compensation will be provided.
The information contained in the above rules are subject to change without notice. We may at any time vary these terms and conditions by publishing the varied terms and conditions on our website. You accept that by doing this, we have provided you with sufficient notice of these changes.
The information and materials connected to our Loyalty Club cannot be replicated without prior written permission. You may not post, distribute or reproduce any copyrighted material, trademarks, or other proprietary information without obtaining owner permission of such rights.
1 point will be added to your account for every £1 spent on food, drink and accommodation, upon presentation of a Loyalty Club membership QR code on the New Dawn Pubs app, or by providing the Loyalty Club membership number.
Upon reaching a point target, a credit will be added to your account and the points balance will return to zero (plus any points beyond the points target threshold).
Points can only be redeemed at time of purchase and cannot be added retrospectively.
On occasion, it may be possible to collect 2 or more points for every £1 spent. This is dependant on the individual restrictions of the offer at that site.
Only one loyalty account can be added per tab, transaction or basket, they cannot be split between members.
Points are valid for 24 months, after which, they are removed from your account and no longer count towards your points target.
Upon reaching 500 points, a £10 credit will be added to your account. This does not have to be used in one transaction. This reward credit is valid for 12 months, after which, it will be removed from your account.
Only one members' credits can be used to settle a tab or make a transaction. This can include multiple credits, as long as they are on one account.

For new members signing up, a £10 credit will be added to your account as a welcome. This does not have to be used in one transaction.

Valid every day between 4-6 pm, on presentation of your Loyalty Club number or QR code, a 15% deduction will be made to items purchased from the following list:

Sleepover discount
Book a room at The Red Lion and enjoy 10% off your room rate. The exclusive members’ discount code is provided upon downloading the app and registering for a Loyalty Club membership. This discount is not available to those in our Corporate Tier.
Christmas Party Reward
£20 reward credit will be added to a members account when a booking is identified under a matching email address, for a party of 6 or more people, who book and dine from a pub's Festive Party Menu.
If an alternative email address has been provided for a booking, then the booking email can be changed by speaking with the pub directly, prior to the date of the booking. Email addresses cannot be changed after the date of booking.
Other Perks
On occasions, a membership perk or benefit will be offered. These will be subject to their own conditions, which will be listed here.
